Placitas Elementary to sponsor spaghetti dinner and auction

The Placitas Elementary School PTO will sponsor a spaghetti dinner and auction on Friday, April 3 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. PTO fundraisers in the past have supported the Art in the School Program (AIS), teacher appreciation, and purchased science supplies for the classroom, as well as gym equipment. Past spaghetti dinners have been a huge success, largely as a result of outstanding community support.

The Range Café is generously providing the food for the dinner. Local donors include First State Bank, Clear Light Cedar Company, Flying Star, Wal-Mart, La Bonne Vie Salon, and many local artists. The PTO would like to thank in advance all of the businesses and individuals who contribute to this very special event.

All are welcome to join us for dinner, live entertainment, a raffle for themed baskets, and both silent and live auctions. The AIS is providing an ice cream dessert table made possible by Taos Cow; Justin Young, owner of Sunflower Market in Corrales; the Rio Rancho Dairy Queen; the Westside Sweet Tomatoes; and the Alameda Baskin Robbins.

Dinner tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children. Raffle tickets are $1 each or twelve for $10. Hope to see you there.
