DOG: Heeler/Lab mix with no tail, seen just north of Highway 165 in Placitas (Chamisa Rd in Ranchos de Placitas) in very late February. Medium/larger dog. #3565.

2 DOGS: Young Golden Retriever and similar size black dog potted running loose in Placitas Trails on February 28, west end of Sage Hill Drive. No collars. #3566 & 3567.

3 HORSES: Seen walking along Highway 165 in Placitas near the Library & Fire Station on March 10. #3581-3.

DOG: Cocker Spaniel, kind of heavy, seen running loose on Camino de las Huertas (about 2 miles north of the Village of Placitas) on March 19. Older looking dog, very, very timid. #3586.


DOG: 11 year old Red Heeler lost from las Huertas Canyon (past the Village of Placitas near the 8 mile marker of Highway 165) the 1st week of March. Fat Male dog who looks almost like a pit bull and has a scar on his back. # 3573.


CAT: Grey & black Tabby with half a tail found in the Village of Placitas on February 28. Very thin cat with white neck and white feet. #3570

DOGS: 3 small dogs found (most likely dumped) off the east side of the Forest Loop Road, near the 3 mile marker of Highway 165 in Placitas. One was a new born puppy, with the umbilical cord still attached, who died the next day.

CAT: Long-haired white cat with grey patch on head found in Placitas Trails (about 1 mile from I-25), seen since early February.  Friendly with other cats, likes company and, if her owner doesn't claim her, she will need a home! #3568 (SEE PHOTO above)
