  • Wednesday: Project Linus blanket making 10 a.m., cards 1 p.m.
  • Thursday: Yoga 9:30-11 a.m., beading class 1-4:30 p.m., enhanced fitness 1-2 p.m.

Lunch Menu

April 1: Red chile beef and cheese enchilada, Spanish rice, zucchini and onions, diced peaches

April 2: Baked chicken ziti, Capri vegetables, Caesar salad with dressing, garlic toast, fresh melon

April 3: Polish sausage with sauerkraut, baked beans, carrot and raisin salad, baked apples, cookie

April 4: Tuna casserole, steamed carrots, beet and onion salad, biscuit with margarine, fruit cocktail

April 7: Chicken breast strips, scalloped potatoes, French cut green beans, coleslaw, applesauce

April 8: Beef Stroganoff, egg noodles, steamed cauliflower, garden salad with dressing, diced pears

April 9: Chicken pot pie with mixed vegetables, country vegetables, mixed greens salad with dressing, apricots

April 10: Spaghetti with meat sauce, Italian vegetables, Caesar salad with dressing, garlic toast, strawberries and bananas

April 11: Lemon pepper tilapia, brown rice pilaf, steamed broccoli, garden salad with dressing, grapes

April 14: Salisbury steak with gravy, corn, mixed vegetables, tossed salad with dressing, fruit cocktail

April 15: Baked chicken breast, scalloped potatoes, Sicilian style vegetables, garden salad with dressing, biscuit with margarine, applesauce

April 16: Meadowlark Open. All Other Centers closed; Ham and cheese sandwich, lettuce leaf and sliced tomato, coleslaw, orange, cookie.!

April 17: Sloppy Joe with bun, tater tots, steamed cauliflower, garden salad with dressing, tropical fruit cocktail

April 18: Fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp, green beans, mixed greens salad with dressing, diced peaches

April 21: Chicken fried steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, steamed carrots, tossed salad with dressing, biscuit with margarine, pineapple tidbits

April 22: Frito pie, pinto beans, zucchini and onions, shredded lettuce, tomato, flour tortilla, fruit cocktail

April 23: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas and carrots, mixed greens salad with dressing, biscuit with margarine, grapes

April 24: Chicken cacciatore with pasta, steamed broccoli, spinach salad with dressing, garlic toast, mixed fruit, tapioca pudding

April 25: Roast turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, spring mixed salad with dressing, diced pears

April 28: Chicken patty sandwich, potato wedges, steamed cauliflower, mixed greens salad with dressing, orange

April 29: Beef stew with potatoes, stew vegetables, garden salad with dressing, fresh melon, cookie

April 30: Lasagna, Italian vegetables, cucumber and tomato salad with dressing, garlic toast, baked apples

• 2% milk served with each meal. Canned fruit in light syrup. Menu subject to change.

• This menu applies to all Sandoval County senior centers, except Meadowlark Senior Center in Rio Rancho.
