San Antonio Mission releases video
A DVD video chronicling the construction and dedication of the new addition to San Antonio Mission, Placitas, is garnering great reviews following its release in mid-July.
The DVD was videographed and produced by Signpost photographer and columnist Tim Nadeau, of Placitas. Combining still photos by Maureen and Frank Castro with video, the one-hour production follows the construction of San Antonio's new wing from early January to its dedication on June 12, 2005.
Tim also will bring his expertise to the evolving Placitas Oral History and Placitas Historic Buildings Survey projects being undertaken by the Placitas Community Library.
A premiere screening of the San Antonio MIssion DVD is scheduled at the San Antonio Mission Social Hall on Sunday, August 7, at approximately 11:00 a.m. (following 9:30 a.m. mass).
