The Pack got more parade practice last month at the Placitas Independence Day Parade, and that was just one very exciting event in July—the cub scouts and their parents camped overnight at the Baca Ranch in Algodones. “Cub Scout Pack 708 has filled the entire summer with camping, parades, contributing to the community, hiking, fishing, and swimming,” says Scout Leader Mr. Gardner. With their families, the scouts will individually attend the Sandoval County Fair, from July 28 to August 3 in Cuba. Until school starts, the Pack will participate in weekly Wednesday night Den Meetings instead of the two elementary school meetings. Pack 708 continues to recruit additional boys from Bernalillo, Placitas, and northern Rio Rancho. To find out about Pack information, contact David Gardner at 867-4689
