Sandoval Commission Meetings
Unless otherwise noted, all Sandoval County commission meetings will be held in the county commission chambers, Sandoval County Courthouse, 711 Camino del Pueblo, Bernalillo, New Mexico.

Placitas Community Library Hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, 10 a.m. -4 p.m.; Sundays, noon-2 p.m. 867-3355.

Tuesdays: Haven House Domestic Violence Support Group for women whose lives have been touched by domestic violence. Third Tuesdays: RESOLVE, Central New Mexico, Meeting. RESOLVE provides information and support for those dealing with infertility, pregnancy loss, high-risk pregnancy, making the decision to adopt or life without children. Fourth Tuesdays through December: New-Employer Tax Workshops for small businesses that have or plan to have employees. First Wednesdays: MOMS Club of Rio Rancho South General Meeting. Free. Thursdays: Depression and bipolar support group meetings. DBSA Albuquerque offers weekly support-group meetings for those suffering from mood disorders. Second Thursdays: Do you want to learn more about politics? The League of Women Voters–Albuquerque, a nonpartisan organization, meets the second Thursday of each month. Through December 30: “Originals 2007,” a juried and invitational exhibition of NM women artists, organized and sponsored by the NM Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, DC and hosted by the Harwood Museum of Art and the Millicent Rogers Museum in Taos. December 1: Casa San Ysidro in Corrales will be open to the public for free from 5 – 8 p.m. Featuring farolitos, hot cider, cookies, music, and crafts.

December 2: Corrales Winter Growers’ Market, featuring music by Jose Salazar and Gloria Allen. Located on Corrales Road in Corrales, next to the Post Office. The market is held from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. For information, call 898-7927.

December 6: Pre-school story time at Placitas Community Library at 10 a.m.

December 6: Puppet show at the Loma Colorado Main Library at 6:30pm. Adapting stories from Frankly Fractured Folktales by Anthony D. Fredericks, the three-act play will dissect the legend of the Big Bad(?) Wolf. Space is limited, so this is a ticketed event.
