A Valentine’s luncheon is scheduled for Thursday, February 13, at 12:00 p.m. Those who have not yet attended a holiday luncheon must make arrangements to attend. You will have a wonderful time and meet many new friends. We usually have between fifty and seventy people who attend the luncheon, ranging from fifty to ninety years of age. Handmade door prizes will be given away and everyone in attendance will receive a gift to take home. Come join us for a great time!

On February 19 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., please join us for a Health Wise workshop where we will discuss home medical self-care possibilities, how to become a wise medical consumer, how to get the care you need from the managed care system, and how to communicate with your doctors. Participants will receive a free Health Wise handbook that discusses 180 common medical problems and provides tips on staying healthy, as well as a free kit containing medicines and supplies to treat many common problems. If you would like to attend the workshop, RSVP to the center, 867-1396, by February 14.
