  • Monday: Aquatics 8 a.m., yoga 10 a.m., duplicate bridge 1-4:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday: Painting class 9:30-11:30 a.m., enhanced fitness 1-2 p.m., bridge lessons 2:30-4:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday: Project Linus blanket making 10 a.m., cards 1 p.m.
  • Thursday: Yoga 9:30-11 a.m., beading class 1-4:30 p.m. enhanced fitness 1-2 p.m.
  • Friday: Aquatics 8 a.m., having fun with clay 9:30 a.m. enhanced fitness 1-2 p.m., Go lessons 2:15 p.m.

February 3: Hair cuts by appointment only 9 a.m.-3 p.m., getting to know your best friend (yourself) with Valerie 12:30 p.m.

February 20: Free health check by Placitas Volunteer Fire Department

February 21: Center closing at 1 p.m. due to staff training

February 4: Orange chicken salad, whole wheat roll with margarine, lettuce leaf and tomato slice, banana, cookie

February 5: Beef stroganoff, egg noodles, steamed cauliflower, garden salad with dressing, tropical fruit salad

February 6: Green chile cheese enchiladas, Spanish rice, zucchini and onions, tossed salad with dressing, diced pears

February 7: Chicken fettuccine Alfredo, Italian vegetables, cucumber and tomato salad, garlic toast, apricots

February 10: Chicken patty sandwich, tater tots, Capri vegetables, garden salad with dressing, orange

February 11: Hot turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes and gravy, steamed carrots, coleslaw, fresh grapes

 

February 12: Beef stew, stew vegetables with potato, tossed salad with dressing, cornbread with margarine, honeydew melon

February 13: Shepherds’ pie with mashed potato, steamed broccoli, garden salad with dressing, cornbread with margarine, baked apples

February 14: Pork roast, baked potato, winter blend vegetables, spring mix salad with dressing, whole wheat roll with margarine, chocolate pudding

February 17: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, mixed vegetables, mixed green salad with dressing, whole wheat roll with margarine, applesauce

February 18: Barbecued chicken thigh, red potato wedges, steamed carrots, tossed salad with dressing, whole wheat roll with margarine, tropical fruit cocktail

February 19: Green chile cheeseburger, tater tots, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, green beans, grapes

February 20: Chicken soft taco, pinto beans, chuckwagon corn, diced tomatoes and lettuce, pineapple chunks

February 21: Lemon pepper tilapia, steamed broccoli, coleslaw, steamed rice, whole wheat roll with margarine, orange

February 24: Chicken fried steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, Capri vegetables, garden salad with dressing, biscuit with margarine, tropical fruit cocktail

February 25: Teriyaki chicken breast, brown rice, mixed veggies, tossed salad with dressing, whole wheat roll with margarine, apple crisp

February 26: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, tossed salad with dressing, mixed vegetables, biscuit with margarine, banana

February 27: Pork chop with gravy, brown rice, mixed green salad with dressing, Brussels sprouts, fruit cocktail

February 28: Chicken strips with honey mustard, carrot and raisin salad, three bean salad, applesauce, cookie

• 2% milk served with each meal. Canned fruit in light syrup. Menu subject to change.

• This menu applies to all Sandoval County senior centers, except Meadowlark Senior Center in Rio Rancho.
