Notice of Public Hearings
Sandoval County Senior Program
— Older Americans Act Services —
The Sandoval County Senior Program will hold two public hearings to receive comments
from Seniors 60 years of age and older on the senior services currently provided throughout
Sandoval County. Those services include Transportation, Congregate Meals at senior centers,
Home Delivered Meals, Physical Fitness activities, Frail & Elder Services including homemaker
Services, Case Management and Caregiver Respite services, educational classes and group
activities. In addition, we are seeking recommendations for any services not currently provided.
All comments and recommendations will assist staff in determining services over the
next four years as part of the Four Year Area Plan which begins July 1, 2012 and ends June 30, 2016. Please plan on attending one of the hearings listed below. If you cannot attend, you can submit written comments by mailing them to the Sandoval County Senior Program, P. O. Box 40, Bernalillo, NM 87004 or delivering them to the Sandoval County Administration Building,
1500 Idalia Road, Bldg.D, Bernalillo, NM, by no later than Wednesday, February 15, 2012.
Please let us know which services are meeting your needs, what areas need improvement and voice any additional concerns regarding senior services in Sandoval County. All comments,
recommendations and suggestions will be part of the public record for these hearings.
