Indian Tourism Association elects president

The Tourism Association of New Mexico wishes to congratulate one of its board members, Ron Soliman, on his additional tourism-industry responsibility as the newly elected president of the board of directors of the New Mexico Indian Tourism Association. Ron, who currently serves as President and CEO of the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and Indian Pueblos Marketing, has an extensive background in tourism marketing and business development in New Mexico.


Class offers hope, skills to women reentering the workforce

The New Mexico Commission on the Status of Women, Displaced Homemakers/Women in Transition Program, is offering the popular class Effective Work Search Skills in Albuquerque. This class is targeted at women who have been out of the job market for a number of years and need to return to work or women in transition who need to improve their skills in looking for work.

The next class is January 5 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with lunch on your own. Classes will be held at the Albuquerque Police Department Westside Command Center Community Room at 6404 Los Volcanes NW. Seating is limited, so registration is required. Local Realtor earns CRB designation

Lucy Noyes, a Placitas member of La Puerta Real Estate Services has been awarded the prestigious Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager Designation by the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers. The CRB is recognized industry-wide as the measure of success for real-estate brokers and managers. Realtors who have earned the designation have completed a comprehensive program combining experience with management education.

The Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers is a not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors with almost seven thousand members in North America. Innovative and result-oriented programs, products, and services are continually being developed to enhance the productivity and profitability of council members.
