As a reminder, karate classes are being offered at the Placitas Community Center on Mondays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. for children five years old and up. Also, story time for children of all ages is held on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Please come and enjoy these activities. Call 867-1396 if you have suggestions for other activities for children at the center.
The center is looking for someone interested in teaching a macramé class for senior citizens. This will be just a one-time class held at the instructor’s convenience. Please call 867-1396 if you would like to volunteer to teach this class. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
