No fireworks display on the Fourth

Santa Ana Pueblo and the Town of Bernlaillo will not provide a fireworks display on the Fourth of July this year. County Manager Les Swindle said that the pueblo recently informed the town that they would not collaborate as usual this year.

The site is at 4200 Meadowlark Lane near Jackie Road in Rio Rancho.

The guidelines for automatic eligibility are: does the household receive food stamps, or WIC/CSFP, or qualify for the free or reduced school-lunch program?

For further information and eligibility based on income, the Meadowlark Methodist Commodities Center can be reached at 771-1857.
