LOST

DOG: Small, brown & black dog lost from south of the Village of Placitas on May 6th. Female. #3326.

CAT: Grey, 1 year old, female lost from Sandia Lane in ranchos de Placitas on May 9th. Short grey hair with Yellow eyes. "Inky" is spayed and has her shots. #3328 See Photo below.

CAT: Small spayed female tiger striped cat. Lost from the Village of Placitas on about May 10th. "Chessie" is full grown but looks like a large kitten size cat. Spayed female with medium length hair. #3329.

DOG: Red mixed breed dog lost in the public land near Sundance Mesa, in northwestern Placitas. "Nora" is gentle, 25lbs, was lost May 17th. #3330. See photo below.

FOUND

2 DOGS: 2 small, female dogs found by Highway 165 near the Presbyterian Church in Placitas on May 5th. Possibly Chihuahua mixes. 1 reddish brown, other reddish brown with blck mixed in. Seem like they've grown up together. One may have some terrier in her. They are not as small as chihuahua or dachshunds. #3324 & 3325.

DOG: Black dog, female, small/medium size, found in Vista Montana (western Placitas) on May 25th, 15-20 lbs with collar & old rabies tag. Looks like she has bee stray a long time. #3333.

SEEN

DOG: Black & white dog, medium size, possibly a shelty mix, has been seen in Ranchos de Placitas May 21st-23rd. Looks to be 45-50 lbs. #3331.

DOG: Seen in the Sandia Mountains by Osha Springs. Chow, stocky & furry, with a back pack on. #3332

Watermelon Mountain Ranch to participate in Placitas Appreciation Day

Watermelon Mountain Ranch’s veterinarian Dr. Robert Blake will be at the Placitas Appreciation Day to give shots for cats and dogs. Microchipping services will also be available. No reservations are needed; just show up with your animal. Dr. Blake will be available from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
As a fundraiser, Watermelon Mountain Ranch will be providing dog washing services for a donation and will also be offering animal art for sale from the gallery of Mark Durham of Santa Fe. All proceeds from the event benefit the vet clinic at the ranch.
