Placitas Fire Department update

The Placitas Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting another set of “Community CPR Classes,” free to Placitas residents, on Wednesday June 16 at 6 p.m. and again Saturday June 19 at 9 a.m.

Please register yourself or your group for the class by calling our non-emergency number, state which class date you are interested in, leave your contact number and name, and we will get in touch with you to confirm that you are registered. Our number is (505) 867-5080.

We would like to remind you to look for our fund drive flyer in the mail. Your donations to your fire department help us in many ways to improve our service to you.

In the near future, we will also be developing a wish list of items for those of you who are interested in donating items instead of money.

The time to plan on attending our annual Fourth of July parade is fast approaching. We will keep to the same timeline as we have in the past. Parade participants should line up in the area of Camino del Rincon Colorado and Hwy. 165 before 11 a.m., with the parade to start off at 11 a.m.
