Project Heart Start will be offering free hands-only CPR training and Health Fair at 8:00 a.m. to noon on June 20 in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho.

The sixth annual Project Heart Start Day will include free forty-minute CPR classes at 8:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. at University of New Mexico’s Johnson Center and at Rio Rancho’s Meadowlark Senior Center.

Project Heart Start training includes recognizing heart attack signs, performing compression CPR, using an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and saving choking victims.

Albuquerque-area residents of all ages are encouraged to attend and learn how to save lives with New Mexico cardiologist Dr. Barry Ramo and other medical experts.
