  •  Tuesdays: Painting class 9:30 a.m., laughing Yoga 12:30 p.m., Bingo 1 p.m., billiards 12 p.m., fused-glass open studio every second Tuesday 2:30-4 p.m.
  •  Wednesdays: Project Linus blanket making 9:30 a.m., laughing Yoga 12:30 p.m., cards 1 p.m., billiards 9 a.m.-3:15 p.m., Tai Chi 3:30 p.m.

We will be hosting a defensive driving class in the near future. Call the Placitas Community Center to sign up. Date and times will be available once we get a date and time set up with instructor. If anyone is interested in teaching a beginning guitar class or conversational Spanish class, please call. We have interested clients for these classes.

June 1: Lasagna with meat sauce, steamed broccoli, Caesar salad with dressing, garlic toast, fresh fruit in season

June 2: Green chile chicken enchiladas, Spanish rice, zucchini and onions, shredded lettuce/tomato, fresh orange, cookie  

June 5: Savory chicken with gravy, steamed brown rice, steamed carrots, mixed green salad with dressing, sweet roll with margarine, chilled pears

June 6: Creole pork chop, roasted red potatoes, steamed broccoli, spinach salad with dressing, whole wheat roll with margarine, chilled applesauce

June 7: Red chile beef smothered burrito, pinto beans, steamed chuck wagon corn, tossed salad with dressing, raisins

June 8: Pepper steak, scalloped potatoes, steamed peas and carrots, mixed green salad with dressing, biscuit with margarine, fresh banana

June 9: BBQ chicken sandwich, ranch beans, steamed cauliflower, coleslaw, chilled fruit cocktail, cookie

June 12: Country fried steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, steamed ca veggies, garden salad with dressing, biscuit with margarine, fresh apple slices

June 26: Sloppy Joe with bun, potato wedges, steamed green beans, garden salad with dressing, fresh apple slices 

June 27: Chicken Parmesan with pasta, steamed carrots, garden salad with dressing, garlic toast, chilled peaches

June 28: Frito pie, pinto beans, steamed zucchini/onions, shredded lettuce, tomato, flour tortilla, fresh banana 

June 29: BBQ rib sandwich, baked beans, steamed corn, tossed salad with dressing, chilled fruit cocktail

June 30: Chef’s salad with turkey, ham, tomato, cheese and egg, croutons, club crackers, fresh orange, pudding

Low-fat milk served with each meal. Suggested donation for lunch is two dollars for seniors; non-seniors may purchase a meal for six dollars. Menu subject to change.
