After-school Children’s activities at the Placitas Community Center

The Placitas Community Center is setting up an after-school program for children, two to three times a week. Recreational Aid, MaryLou Arriola is looking for community input as to what kind of activities parents would like to see offered. If you have ideas for the program or questions, please contact the Center at  867-1396.

March 4: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, fresh fruit

March 5: Fish, potatoes, carrots, peach cobbler

March 8: Chicken enchiladas, tossed salad, corn, rice pudding

March 9: Spaghetti w/meat sauce, tossed salad w/cucumbers, garlic bread, pineapple tidbits

March 10: Meatloaf w/tomato sauce, scalloped potatoes, beets, tossed salad, bananas

March 11: Beef vegetable stew, tossed salad, corn bread, lemon pudding

March 12: Tuna casserole, tomatoes and cucumbers, peas and carrots, cake

March 15: Stir-fried chicken, egg roll, coleslaw, rice, peaches

March 16: B.B.Q. pork on a bun, baked beans, macaroni salad, mixed fruit

March 17: Roast beef and gravy, mashed potatoes, broccoli, tossed salad, pumpkin pie

March 18: Chili con carne, Spanish rice, tortilla, tossed salad, apple cobbler

March 19: Salmon loaf, steamed rice, green beans w/mushrooms, banana pudding

March 22: Chicken fajitas, bell peppers and oninos, pico de gallo, tortillas, pinto beans
