Lunatique! to move this summer
Lunatique! hosts Wayne Mikosz and Riha Rothberg announced plans to move their popular Placitas tapas bar this summer. Saturday, May 24, will be the last night at the present location in Homestead Village Shopping Center. Singer Patty Stephens will perform that evening with Peter Cover on piano. Stephens was the first of many outstanding local jazz artists to perform at the present Lunatique.
Rothberg and Mikosz, who are collaborative artists and residents of Placitas, are not ready to divulge the exact location of the next Lunatique!, but "it won’t be far" from the present location.
They do say that they will be taking some time off to paint together, while designing and building a new space for their next romantic, destination restaurant-bar. "Lunatique! has been so well received, we are looking forward to moving to a location that will allow us to grow our business, offer lunch, and give jazz artists even more opportunities to perform," the couple said.
Rothberg and Mikosz will offer their services for private parties until the new Lunatique! opens, next fall.
A catalog for NM businesswomen
The 2003-2004 New Mexico Women in Business Directory is a comprehensive catalog of women-owned businesses and resources. Now in its twenty-second year of publication, the NMWBD is part of a nationwide network of women’s directories that give women an opportunity to identify and connect with products, services, resources, and each other. Fifteen thousand copies of the directory will be distributed free to retail stores, purchasing agents, women’s organizations, chambers of commerce, libraries, and other sites this summer.
NMWBD’s goal is to include all New Mexico women-owned businesses, women’s service organizations, and community resources for women. For more information, contact Duval Publications, at 247-9195 or e-mail email@example.com.
