From the Placitas Community Center

Janice Mortensen
Director
Placitas Community Center

The Placitas Community Center is looking for ideas for new classes to start up this summer! We need your thoughts. What is it you would like to see offered in your community center? We need your help and ideas. At this time we would like to add a potter’s wheel and classes in handmade clay sculpture and yoga. Would these be of interest to you? Give us a call or stop by to sign up. We will then see if there is an interest in these classes and we will get them started. We need your input on the needs of the community.

We would like to thank all the volunteers for taking time to teach classes and helping out with all the daily activities that go on at the center. We would also like to thank all those who have donated a variety of items to the center. We could not do it without your continued support!

Again, we encourage you to use the center that is provided for you. We always welcome new friends. Come over and join us!
