The following activities are available during Community Center hours, unless noted otherwise:

  • Monday/Wednesday/Friday: Chair exercises 9:30 a.m. (exception: May 21)
  • Monday: Duplicate bridge 12:30-4:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday: Painting class 9:30-11:30 a.m., Wii games 12:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday: Cards 1-3:30 p.m., Project Linus 10 a.m. (exception: May 19)
  • Thursday: Yoga 9:30-11 a.m., beading 1-4:30 p.m.
  • Friday: Scrabble 10:30 a.m. (exception: May 21)

May 4: Turkey and cheese sandwich with mayonnaise, carrot and raisin salad, lettuce and tomato slices, cookie, fruit with Jell-O

May 5: Red chile beef enchilada, Spanish rice, beets, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, orange

May 6: Baked ham, sweet potatoes, island vegetables, garden salad with dressing, whole wheat roll with margarine, pineapple

May 7: Baked fish, parsley potatoes, coleslaw, steamed carrots, whole wheat roll with margarine, pears

May 10: Soft beef taco, pinto beans, zucchini, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, strawberries and bananas

May 21: All centers closed for annual picnic: Green chile cheeseburger, lettuce and tomatoes, sliced onion and pickles, fresh fruit salad

May 24: Chicken sandwich, coleslaw, Brussels sprouts, lettuce and tomato slices, cookie, fruit with Jell-O

May 25: Spaghetti with meat sauce, broccoli, Caesar salad with dressing garlic bread, peaches

May 26: Mini beef frank with chili, carrot coins, garden salad with dressing, brownie, tropical fruit

May 27: Chicken and rice, green beans, tossed salad with dressing, biscuit with margarine, apple

May 28: Ground beef and cheese pizza, chuck wagon vegetables, spinach, garden salad with dressing, banana

May 31: All centers closed in observance of Memorial Day

• Milk is served with each meal. Canned fruit is in light syrup.
