Free bridge lessons

—Janice Mortensen, Placitas Community Center

Back by popular demand, more free bridge lessons will be given at the Placitas Community Center. The popularity of Bill and Carol Skee’s lessons in how to play bridge has exceeded expectations. The Community Center has decided to offer a second round of classes for beginners so that more people can get involved and learn to play this terrific card game. If you would like to learn to play bridge with confidence and enthusiasm, sign up at the Placitas Community Center. Lessons will be approximately two hours on Friday afternoons, and will start after Thanksgiving. Contact the Community Center ahead of time so that we will know how many to expect. You can reach us at 867-1396.
