Animal News

OCTOBER 2008

If you lose or find an animal in Placitas or the surrounding area, please call the Animal Hotline at 867-6135. The Hotline is a non-profit service to help reunite lost and found pets with their owners. Placing a Lost or Found in the Animal Hotline is a free service. You can even include a photo! For more information, please call Dave at 867-6135. You may also email the Animal Hotline at placitasdave@aol.com, but please call first.

There is more and more wildlife being spotted all over Placitas. In the western area, three bobcats were seen in Placitas Trails in early September. Just north of there, a lynx was seen in Anasazi Meadows. Just a reminder that we share our beautiful countryside with the natural world.
