To take the New Mexico Rail Runner Express to Balloon Fiesta, you
need to purchase a Rail Runner/Park and Ride/ Balloon Fiesta Admission
pass before heading to the station. Buy your combined Rail Runner/Park
and Ride/Balloon Fiesta ticket on-line at www.balloonfiesta.com.
Please note that these Balloon Fiesta passes will not be
available for purchase at Rail Runner stations or on the Rail Runner
website.
Those wishing to ride the Rail Runner on Balloon Fiesta weekends,
but do not want to attend the fiesta, can purchase a $3 day pass
just to ride the train on those days: October 4th, 5th, 11th, and
12th. You can buy these tickets on-line at www.nmrailrunner.com
or on the train.
How does it work?
- Buy your combined Rail Runner/Park and Ride/Balloon Fiesta
ticket on-line at www.balloonfiesta.com
- Take the Rail Runner to the Los Ranchos/Journal Center Station
- From there, use your pass to get on the shuttle that will take
you directly to the Fiesta grounds
- Have a great time!
